This article is based on the statistical data of the national ferry industry from 2021 to 2024, systematically analyzing the scale characteristics, regional differences, and technological upgrading status of ferry transportation in China, with a focus on exploring the transformation path of green power substitution and intelligent operation empowerment. Combining the promotion of new energy ferries with the practice of smart ferry platforms, using data comparison methods to verify the effectiveness of transformation, and analyzing the current problems such as regional development imbalance, insufficient technology application, inadequate policy support, and shortage of talent and funds.
